The Joey Commute features the Nexus 8 speed hub gear and 507 wheel size. The internal hub gear affords some weather protection to the transmission and increases the gear range compared to the Joey Sport. The 507 rims, with their off-road origins, give extra strength and good choice of larger profile high performance tyres.
